I never imagined I would be reviewing a web series game show. But here I am watching a low budget game show, broadcasted solely on the internet.
Red Carpet Run asks trivia question on the subject of entertainment. If you are a TV addict, you’ll probably enjoy this show. The questions aren’t too difficult – or maybe I’m too much of a TV junkie, myself, that I’m able to answer them faster than the contestants are able to buzz their extremely low budget buzzers. I shouldn’t care that this show is low budget. But I’m kind of conditioned by the standards of TV game shows that I almost expect the razzle dazzle of lights and glitter and so the cheap set used for this show is distracting. With that said, Noah Starr, the host of the show is engaging. He maintains a fast paced energy and keeps the show flowing. The final challenge is fun too. The winning contestant dresses in a tux, gets on a treadmill and answers further entertainment questions as the treadmill moves faster and faster. Hens the name, “Red Carpet Run.”

It is a fun game show. But the distractive, low budget set (which some may actually get a kick out of), prevents this show from getting a fully unsquashed pumpkin. Don’t let that stop you from checking this show out.
