Once again, we have another production of that mysterious hero; Batman. This production decides to take the Dark Knight to a whole different angle: Full Blast Funny! This is a series that has no intention of taking itself seriously or taking Batman too seriously either. Does it work?
(click this image to watch the series)
You bet it does. I’ve had several laughs through out the video series. The production is well polished and loaded with talent. The storyline has some fun characters and funny lines. It gets a bit cheesy and slow at times. But it’s a lot of fun and my biggest criticism is that there aren’t enough videos in this series. I want more! I give this series a high half-squashed pumpkin. Enjoy!!

Epic Meal Time is a food blog and video series. Actually, EpicMealTime.com hosts 3 different web series; all on the topic of food. But not just any food. Gross Food!
The show ‘Epic Meal Time’ focuses on the host demonstrating (often with a buddy) truly epic uses for a specific ingredient; like bacon or beef. The show ‘Epic Chef’ is a competition show where two teams are competing against each other with a themed ingredient. The winner is determined by a panel of judges. The show ‘Throwback Thursdays’ is about…? I’m not actually sure. I mean it’s not much different from ‘Epic Meal Time’

I’m not really sure what to say about this series of food videos. It’s definitely focused on a distinct ‘flavor’ of show. I mean no pun by that. It’s gross. Every episode is gross. And they mean to be gross.
It might be that I have a delicate stomach, but I’m going to have to give this a half squashed pumpkin. I know that some people will love this series. It’s not without its humor. It’s playful and there isn’t a boring moment in any of the episode I watched. But… it’s gross and I highly recommend that you don’t watch these shows while eating.
With all that said, do give it a try, especially if you are the type who likes to play with your food. Click the image above to give it a go and have fun!

“Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” is a web series staring Jerry Seinfeld. The series is generally a talk show where Jerry Seinfeld has a chat with a guest comedian or comic actor, over coffee or even a full meal. Each episode cleverly opens with Seinfeld introducing a car, which could be a Rolls Royce or an old junker that looks like it’s got one more run on the road before kicking the bucket. With the car of the episode, he picks up his comedic guest and cruises on over to a location where they eat, drink and chat.

This show is true to the Jerry Seinfeld style; simple, consistent, clever. It’s tightly paced and funnier than hell. Seinfeld seems to have found another talent. He’s quite skilled in the fine art of interviewing. He manages to ask simple, discrete questions of his guests that manage to get them to reveal some of the most personal and engaging stories about themselves and their lives.
This series is an absolute MUST SEE! If I could give this show TWO unsquashed pumpkins, I would. It’s that good. Click the image above to start watching and have a blast!

Bandwagon is a docu-comedy that follows a character called Emma Caulfield; a blond haired, blue eyed actress on a mission to make a difference in the world by producing a “Glee” like show for the black community. Actually, the character Emma Caulfield is a tangible person – one of the creators of this show, in fact. Is this as real a documentary as is the star of the show? I ask with tongue in cheek.
While this show has wicked characters and a cool plot line, it can be a bit cliche at times. Characters are predictable and sometimes a bit over the top in their personalities. However, with that said, it’s a blast to watch and down right funny! Bandwagon has some truly funny scenes and the actors are well cast, each performing their characters wonderfully – which could be because they are all possibly playing themselves like Caulfied. Who cares. It’s entertaining!

I can’t give this series a full on pumpkin. But I have to say, I’d give it a pretty darn close one. It gets a half squashed pumpkin with a strong recommendation from me to go check it out!

Steve Hayes reviews old classic films in his YouTube web series called, “Steve Hayes: Tired Old Queen”. I’ve watched a lot of movie review shows and none of them have ever demonstrated the volume of entertainment and film knowledge that this series is packed with. Hayes clearly loves films and especially the classics which we should always take time to enjoy. On top of his passion for classic films, Hayes demonstrates an uncanny knowledge of the history of Hollywood films. And if that wasn’t enough on its own to encourage you to watch this series, Hayes also fills each episode with his huge charm and humour.
You will catch yourself giggling, sometimes outright laughing, as Hayes takes the time to educate you, in his own delightful way, all about the making and the gossip of each wonderful classic film, one episode and one movie at a time.

This series is an absolute “Don’t Miss!” A full pumpkin for my favourite “Tired Old Queen”!

Star-ving stars David Faustino. You’ll remember him most as the son in “Married with children.” The premise of this show is designed around Faustino’s supposed pathetic life after the hit series “Married with children.” Episode one includes his TV dad, Ed O’Neil. Other episodes that follow continue to bring guest appearances from other successful stars of the “Married with children” series.
I don’t understand why someone as successful as Ed O’Neil would agree to play himself as such a jerk in such a jerky, jackass show. The jokes are not funny and for some reason Faustino finds it necessary for us to see his naked behind, episode after episode. And, speaking of episodes, each one is really the same. Faustino tries to revamp his acting career and fails miserably and so then he decides to take his life and he fails miserably at that too.

If this show is any reflection to his true real life, I can say he’s still going to continue to struggle to revamp his career. This series gets a fully splatted, totally squashed pumpkin.

The best way to describe this series is exactly as it is said on the L Studio site that broadcasts it: “Humorists Starlee Kine and Arthur Jones offer their unique take on popular culture, people and places in this animated series.”
Both Starlee and Arthur are quick witted people who express fresh opinions on everyday cultural topics. But what I like most about this show is the way in which it is visually displayed. It’s completely animated. Even Starlee and Arthur are animated and for some reason it makes this review/talk show enticing and engaging. I love their choice of topics and their honest whit and repartee throughout each episode. It feels as if one is sitting down to visit a couple of great friends. It’s well paced, well written and, of course, well spoken.

You must check this one out. It’s among the most intelligent shows out there! A full pumpkin for these two. Of course.

This hilarious story follows a character named Ozzie O’Conner who finds himself in prison for the first time in his life. He takes us along for the ride as he tries to fit into prison culture and social rules.
This is truly one of the funniest shows on the net. It’s written by John Lehr and Nancy Hower. John Lehr also stars in the series as Ozzie O’Conner and, I must say, he does an excellent job playing the roll. Nancy Hower also works as the director. She, too, does a fantastic job keeping a well run pace to the plot. There isn’t a moment of boredom. This duo shocks the viewer with twists in the story and tons of puns and funny lines. Jailbait is a rare gem on the internet.

A fully intact pumpkin goes to this production. Well done! A must see!!

Puppy Love is an online series that spotlights people who love their dogs… maybe a little too much. Each episode stands alone with unique characters and storylines different from the other episodes. The show’s producer is Amy Harris, well known for producing Sex In the City, and she has left her touch on this show too. It clearly has the same feel and pacing as Sex In The City. It has that same dry, biting humour as well.
As a puppy lover, myself, I could really relate to this show. As a matter of fact, I saw a little bit more of myself in the show than I care to admit. Joking aside, this show is fun. It’s filled with tons of familiar faces; actors you’ve seen in many other shows and movies from previous years. But the real stars in the show, if you ask me, are the dogs… cute dogs.

One fully unsquashed pumpkin for this show. You’ll have fun watching it.

The storyline of this show follows two friends, Hank and Alex, as they make a bet with each other to see if they both can survive living in New York city for an entire year while paying no rent. One decides to create a hidden bed, bunked under his cubical desk at work. The other somehow manages to convince a new girl each night to take him home.
Women will likely shake their heads wondering what’s so fucking funny about this show. In fact, it’s quite insulting. In one scene, Hank (the so called irresistible blond) is on a subway train when a very sleepy girl boards the same train, sits beside him, sleeps on his shoulder and in seconds is convinced to take him home to her house. Another episode finds Hank dealing with chlamydia which has him temporarily unable to seduce cute women to take him home each night. So, he spends the entire episode “celebrating” big women hoping that he can convince one of them to take him home. What!? (I shake my head) I thought we were past this kind of sexism.
Anyone who has any level of respect for women will want to stay well away from this show. There are much better shows to enjoy. Really!!!

If I could, I would double squash this pumpkin beyond recognizable pulp.
